California Licensed Loan Closer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the California Licensed Loan Closer will prepare mortgage closing documents, ensure accuracy of essential information, and communicate with internal staff and settlement agents to resolve closing issues promptly.

Key responsibilities:

• Understand and follow all closing procedures to comply with Federal and State requirements
• Prepare accurate figures for monthly payments, escrows, and other closing-related calculations
• Review loan documents for regulatory compliance and maintain a timely closing pipeline

Required qualifications:

• 5 years of mortgage document experience in preparing closing documents, preferred
• Knowledge of multiple investors' closing policies and relevant regulations, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
• Experience with Encompass software, preferred
