Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the California Licensed Loan Closer will prepare mortgage closing documents, ensure accuracy of essential information, and communicate with internal staff and settlement agents to resolve closing issues in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities
- Understand and follow all closing procedures to comply with Federal and State requirements
- Prepare accurate figures for monthly payments, escrows, and other closing-related calculations
- Review loan documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a closing pipeline
Required qualifications
- 5 years of mortgage document experience in preparing mortgage loan closing documents, preferred
- Knowledge of multiple investors' closing policies and procedures, as well as RESPA, TILA, and Fair Lending regulations, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Encompass software, preferred
