Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Loan Processor to manage residential mortgage loan files from application to funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Process residential mortgage loan files, ensuring accurate packaging and compliance with underwriting guidelines
• Submit loans for initial decision and fulfill necessary conditions for closing in collaboration with customers and third parties
• Maintain communication with borrowers regarding loan status and work with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Funders to meet timelines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Mortgage Processing or a related field
• High school diploma required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the residential mortgage industry, including FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines
• Intermediate knowledge of regulatory compliance obligations and industry standards
• Intermediate working knowledge of Encompass and proficiency with DU and LP
