California Licensed Loan Processor

Job Summary

Independently managing the full lifecycle of consumer loan processing, the remote California Licensed Loan Processor will oversee approximately 40-50 applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong member experience while handling a high volume of loan-related communications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound loan-related communications while progressing multiple applications
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure compliance with documentation standards and regulatory guidelines
• Collect and validate financial and identity documentation to satisfy loan conditions and maintain effective member relationships

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced lending environment with high loan processing volume
• Ability to independently manage complex loan files and resolve escalations effectively
• Knowledge of state and federal laws related to consumer lending and credit union compliance
• Experience in quality control and risk mitigation related to loan processing
