Key Responsibilities

• Provide freelance interpreting services in various settings, including medical, legal, or educational environments
• Set personal availability and accept appointments based on individual schedule
• Contribute to language access efforts for individuals with limited English proficiency

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Luganda/Ganda with an understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns
• Previous interpreting experience, preferably in relevant settings
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US
• Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability
