Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, M&A Legal Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advice on all aspects of M&A transactions, including deal structuring and post-closing integration
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents such as term sheets and purchase agreements
• Conduct and oversee due diligence on potential acquisitions, focusing on contracts and intellectual property rights

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with the relevant state bar
• 5+ years of legal experience with a focus on M&A transactions and entertainment/music law
• Prior experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house counsel role, preferably in the music industry
• Knowledge of music licensing, publishing, and distribution rights
