Job Summary

To support a critical payment processing initiative, the full-time Senior Mainframe IBM Assembler (BAL) Developer will design and optimize IBM Mainframe Assembler code for Visa 0120 Automated Fuel Dispenser transactions in a 100% remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize IBM Mainframe Assembler code within the Connex payment switching platform
• Implement enhancements for real-time transaction processing, including pre-authorization updates and confirmation advice handling
• Collaborate with internal teams and Visa to ensure seamless integration and processing of payment transactions

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe Assembler (BAL)
• Extensive experience with the Connex payment switching platform
• Strong expertise in using Xpediter for debugging Mainframe Assembler applications
• Deep understanding of financial payment processing systems and high-volume transaction environments
• Experience with Automated Fuel Dispenser (AFD) payment workflows and near real-time transaction processing
