A company is looking for a Principal, Market Insights & Characterization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a Practice Area focused on energy market research and characterization, market support, and equity programs
• Achieve practice level annual revenue, sales, and utilization targets while managing complex projects
• Guide, mentor, and develop staff while ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective communication with internal leadership

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, planning, environmental science, business, or a related subject
• 15 to 18 years of work experience in the energy efficiency or utility industry, including at least 6 years in consulting
• Deep understanding of California's energy efficiency and demand side management markets and regulatory processes
• Proven ability to quickly learn new topics and manage multiple projects effectively
• Expertise in quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis
