California Licensed Market Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Market Development Representative to generate new sales of insurance products and develop relationships with brokers.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business sales activity and service agents/brokers effectively
• Conduct outbound sales calls, follow up on proposals, and assist agents in closing sales
• Maintain knowledge of insurance markets and utilize internal systems for tracking and metrics

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or 2+ years of industry experience
• 1+ years professional experience in a selling or telemarketing environment preferred
• Active Life & Health License must be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange
