Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal, Market Characterization and Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a Practice Area focused on energy market research and characterization, market support, and equity programs
• Achieve practice level annual revenue, sales, and utilization targets while managing project progress against milestones and budgets
• Provide technical leadership on complex projects and mentor staff to ensure high-quality deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, planning, environmental science, business, or a related subject
• 15 to 18 years of work experience in energy efficiency or the utility industry, including at least 6 years of consulting experience
• Deep understanding of California's energy efficiency and demand side management markets and regulatory processes
• Proven ability to quickly learn new topics and manage multiple projects and teams
• Expertise in quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis
