Job Summary

To support Health Plan Operations with regulatory and compliance-driven marketing projects, the contract-to-hire California Licensed Marketing Specialist will draft, edit, and finalize member-facing communications while collaborating with leadership, compliance, and operations teams, with a preference for candidates located in the Sacramento area.

Key responsibilities
  • Draft and edit member-facing and stakeholder communications to ensure clarity and compliance
  • Manage communication timelines and multiple priorities independently
  • Collaborate with leadership, compliance, legal, and operations teams on marketing projects
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, technical writing, or content development
  • 2+ years of experience writing or editing in a regulated environment such as healthcare or insurance
  • Ability to occasionally work onsite for in-person collaboration in the Sacramento area
  • Experience with compliance-driven communications and translating regulatory requirements into clear content
