Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare facility, the part-time California Licensed MDS Coordinator RN will manage patient assessments, coordinate care plans in compliance with regulatory requirements, and oversee nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and oversee patient assessments and the assessment process, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations
• Coordinate care plans and manage Medicare and Medicaid documentation, including initiating coverage for eligible patients
• Direct daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures while providing leadership to nursing personnel

Required qualifications

• Current California RN license with MDS Coordinator certification
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Experience in staff training and development within a healthcare environment
