California Licensed Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-time Mechanical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for construction and infrastructure projects
• Assist with design, analysis, and evaluation of mechanical systems including HVAC and plumbing
• Support development and review of mechanical design drawings and technical specifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical system design or construction
• Experience with construction estimates using RSMeans, PACES, or equivalent tools
• Familiarity with relevant engineering standards such as UFCs and ASHRAE
• Demonstrated experience in at least two mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing
