Job Summary
Focused on the design and implementation of mechanical systems within data center facilities, the remote California Licensed Mechanical Engineer will manage comprehensive mechanical designs, oversee project lifecycle aspects, and collaborate with global teams to deliver critical infrastructure solutions on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive mechanical designs for data center projects from Basis of Design to Issue For Construction documentation
- Manage mechanical, fire suppression, and plumbing systems throughout the project lifecycle, addressing stakeholder issues
- Define scopes of work for significant equipment procurements and adapt configurations as project needs change
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in piping stress analysis and related software
- Proven experience with thermal and hydraulic modeling software
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical and building codes
- Experience in mission-critical facility mechanical infrastructure systems
