Job Summary
To support a growing pediatric practice, the full-time California Licensed Medical Assistant will manage patient scheduling, coordinate care with providers, and maintain accurate patient data in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using EHR and scheduling systems, while managing logistics and reducing no-show rates
- Gather and organize patient intake forms and medical histories, ensuring accuracy in the EHR system
- Communicate with referring providers to establish care, obtain medical records, and track referral statuses
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, AAMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and multiple technology platforms
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment
