Job Summary
Thriving in a dynamic environment, the fully remote California Licensed Medical Billing Intake Specialist will manage high-volume patient, provider, and insurance billing inquiries while ensuring precise documentation and resolution of customer interactions during standard work hours of 8am-5pm PT, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Manage 25-35 high-volume inbound and outbound calls daily, addressing billing inquiries effectively
- Cross-reference account setups against large Excel spreadsheets to ensure accuracy in medical billing
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions within the CRM system, maintaining comprehensive case summaries
Required qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing or healthcare customer service experience
- Proven call center experience with full ownership of resolving complex customer files
- Strong proficiency in navigating and managing large Excel spreadsheets or Google Sheets
- Exceptional data entry and written documentation skills for case logging
- Strong knowledge of medical insurance, billing processes, and HIPAA regulations
