Job Summary
Reviewing WCMSA case submissions, the full-time California Licensed Medical Consultant will assess and certify requested treatments, provide written clinical rationales for Workers' Compensation cases, and ensure compliance with applicable standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and summarize facts of WCMSA cases to determine certification of treatments
- Provide written clinical rationales and organize medical records for Workers' Compensation cases
- Monitor review timeliness and meet production and quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant consulting experience
- Extensive experience in documentation and medical review
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/10, and CPT codes
- Availability during core business hours EST, Monday to Friday
- Ability to pass a Federal Suitability Clearance
