Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Medical Director (Part-Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical management functions including Utilization Management and Provider Disputes
• Support quality improvement initiatives through data collection and evaluation
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to implement new programs effectively

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from an accredited medical school
• Current active and unrestricted California medical license
• Board certification in a recognized specialty
• Minimum of three years of experience in medical programs administration
• Knowledge of managed care, Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and Medicare programs
