Job Summary
To support a growing litigation defense practice, the full-time California Licensed Medical Malpractice Attorney will prepare cases for trial, including drafting trial documents and motions, while working in a flexible hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review discovery documents and motions, and argue motions in court
- Take, defend, and summarize depositions, and interview witnesses to prepare case summaries
- Conduct legal and medical research, and prepare cases for trial with necessary filings
Required qualifications
- Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed and proactive approach to case management
- Prior litigation experience in healthcare law is preferred but not required for developing attorneys with strong fundamentals
