Job Summary
Providing clinical expertise in a remote full-time capacity, the California Licensed Medical Reviewer (Physical Therapist) will review therapy-related medical records, claims, and treatment plans to ensure compliance with clinical and program requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review physical therapy-related medical records, claims, Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs), and treatment plans
- Evaluate requested therapy services based on clinical documentation and applicable coverage requirements
- Document review findings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve review questions
Required qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- California license to practice Physical Therapy or eligibility for licensure
- Current professional certification in good standing
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to interpret therapy-related documentation
