California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

To support medical affairs activities across various therapeutic areas, the remote, direct-hire California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, contribute to scientific discussions, and support clinical trial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders while contributing to medical strategies and clinical trial initiatives

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical/MSD/MSL experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical/biotech setting preferred
• Oncology experience required; experience in infectious disease, nephrology, or critical care preferred
• Proven ability to engage healthcare systems and institutional stakeholders effectively
