California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

To support medical affairs activities in oncology and related therapeutic areas, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, contribute to medical strategy development, and provide scientific education in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Support scientific exchange and insight gathering across various therapeutic areas
• Serve as a scientific resource for healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy and publication planning

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical/biotech setting
• Oncology experience required, with a focus on engagement with oncology healthcare providers
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-building skills with healthcare stakeholders
