California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

To support medical affairs activities in oncology and other therapeutic areas, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, contribute to medical strategy, and provide scientific education remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through compliant scientific exchange and collaboration in various therapeutic areas
• Serve as a scientific resource and engage with healthcare providers and institutional stakeholders
• Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy, including publication planning and clinical trial support

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• 1+ years of prior field medical/MSD/MSL experience preferred
• 1-5+ years of experience within an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical setting
• Oncology experience required, with a preference for additional expertise in infectious disease or nephrology
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-building skills with healthcare stakeholders
