California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting medical affairs activities across various therapeutic areas, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, develop scientific discussions, and contribute to medical strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders while contributing to medical strategies and clinical trial initiatives

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical/MSD/MSL experience preferred, including 1+ years of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in academic institutions, healthcare systems, or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• Oncology experience required, with additional experience in infectious disease or nephrology preferred
• Proven ability to engage healthcare systems and institutional stakeholders effectively
