California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting medical affairs activities in oncology and infectious disease, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders while contributing to the development of medical affairs strategies in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering across various therapeutic areas
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy, including publication planning

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in academic, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings
• Oncology experience required, with a focus on engaging healthcare providers
• Strong relationship-building capabilities with healthcare stakeholders
