Job Summary
Supporting medical affairs activities in oncology and infectious disease, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders while contributing to medical strategy and scientific education in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Support medical affairs activities through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering across various therapeutic areas
- Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers, fostering relationships and supporting scientific discussions
- Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy, including publication planning and clinical trial site identification
Required qualifications
- Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
- Prior field medical experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
- 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical setting preferred
- Oncology experience required, with a focus on engaging oncology healthcare providers
- Exceptional scientific communication skills and ability to interpret complex clinical information
