California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting medical affairs activities across various therapeutic areas, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, develop scientific discussions, and contribute to clinical trial initiatives in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering in oncology, infectious disease, and nephrology
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers, maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders
• Develop and support scientific discussions at medical congresses and advisory boards while responding to medical information requests

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical experience preferred, including at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical setting preferred
• Oncology experience required, with additional experience in infectious disease or nephrology strongly preferred
• Proven ability to engage healthcare systems and institutional stakeholders effectively
