California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

To support medical affairs activities across various therapeutic areas, the remote Medical Science Director in Southern California will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, contribute to scientific discussions, and support clinical trial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering across oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, and acute care
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Develop and facilitate scientific discussions at medical congresses and advisory boards

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• 1+ years of scientific engagement experience preferred
• Oncology experience required, with additional experience in infectious disease or nephrology preferred
• Experience in hospital-based specialty products preferred
• Proven ability to engage healthcare systems and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders
