California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting medical affairs activities remotely, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders in oncology and related therapeutic areas, contribute to medical affairs strategy, and respond to medical information requests.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through scientific exchange and collaboration across various therapeutic areas
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers, fostering relationships and supporting scientific discussions
• Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy, including publication planning and clinical trial site identification

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent) required
• Prior field medical experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical setting preferred
• Oncology experience is required, with a focus on engagement with oncology healthcare providers
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-building skills with healthcare stakeholders
