California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

To support medical affairs activities across various therapeutic areas, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, contribute to medical affairs strategy, and provide scientific education while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy, including publication planning

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical experience preferred, including 1+ years of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, pharmaceutical, or biotech setting preferred
• Oncology experience required, with a focus on engagement with oncology healthcare providers
• Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills
