California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

To support medical affairs activities in oncology and related therapeutic areas, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders, develop relationships within healthcare systems, and contribute to medical affairs strategy while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy, including publication planning

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical/MSD/MSL experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical setting preferred
• Oncology experience required, with a focus on engagement with oncology healthcare providers
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-building skills
