California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting medical affairs activities remotely, the full-time salaried California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage healthcare providers and key opinion leaders in oncology and related therapeutic areas, while contributing to scientific discussions and clinical trial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through scientific exchange and cross-functional collaboration
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders, contributing to medical strategies and clinical trial initiatives

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical experience preferred, including 1+ years of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in academic institutions, healthcare systems, or pharmaceutical settings preferred
• Oncology experience required; experience in infectious disease or nephrology is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to engage healthcare systems and institutional stakeholders
