California Licensed Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting medical affairs activities across various therapeutic areas, the full-time California Licensed Medical Science Director will engage healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and institutional stakeholders remotely while contributing to medical affairs strategy and clinical trial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering in oncology, infectious disease, and nephrology
• Serve as a scientific resource and develop relationships with healthcare providers and decision-makers
• Contribute to medical affairs strategy, including publication planning and investigator education

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical setting
• Oncology experience required, with a focus on engagement with oncology healthcare providers
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-building skills
