California Licensed Medspa Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a growing network of aesthetic practices, the full-time California Licensed Medspa Medical Director will oversee medical hires, approve treatment menus, and provide general supervision remotely while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Approve all medical hires and treatment menus, including injectables and aesthetic procedures
• Review and sign protocols, SOPs, and consent forms while being available for consultations and emergency support
• Mentor and supervise RN, NP, and PA providers in accordance with state law

Required qualifications

• Active California Medical License
• MD with a background in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology preferred
• Minimum of two NP oversight slots and one PA oversight slot available
• Prior experience in aesthetic medicine as a collaborating physician or Medical Director
• Formal training in injectables, including Botox and fillers
