Job Summary
Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time California Licensed Member Services Agent will support members and patients by addressing healthcare inquiries, resolving issues, and educating them on benefits and coverage while working remotely in Los Angeles, CA.
Key responsibilities:
- Respond to high-volume inbound calls, educating members on healthcare benefits and resolving issues through research and follow-up
- Accurately document interactions and maintain organized, audit-ready records in managed care systems
- Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to facilitate service delivery and enhance member satisfaction
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of customer service or member services experience in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and managed care principles
- Experience documenting interactions and maintaining organized records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data entry
- Experience working in a remote modality
