California Licensed Mortgage Closer

Job Summary

To support the loan closing process, the fully remote California Licensed Mortgage Closer will draw loan documents, fund loans, and assist with post-closing duties while ensuring compliance with bank requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure files and documents meet all applicable bank and compliance requirements
• Verify and input loan information accurately into the loan origination system, completing a minimum of 8 files per day
• Collaborate with Settlement Agents to finalize loan fees and confirm all required wait periods are met based on the proposed closing date

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 years of recent closing/funding experience
• Minimum 3 years of basic computer experience (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong knowledge of federal/state regulatory policies and procedures, with TRID experience required
• Ability to maintain high levels of performance in stressful situations
