California Licensed Mortgage Manager

Job Summary

Managing the Home Loan production and member experience for the in-market Home Loan Advisor Team, the full-time California Licensed Mortgage Manager will develop strategies to enhance market share, oversee team performance, and ensure compliance with regulations while working onsite in San Jose, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the production, pipeline, and service levels of the In-Market Home Loan Advisors
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve the credit union's home loan market position
• Coach and motivate the Mortgage Loan Originator team to achieve or exceed origination goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Five years or more of home loan origination experience, with at least two years in a management role
• Current MLO/NMLS Registration as required by the S.A.F.E. Act
• Strong knowledge of home loan products, fulfillment processes, and relevant regulations
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of meeting service and origination goals
