California Licensed Mortgage Processor

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage team, the fully remote California Licensed Mortgage Processor will process home equity lines of credit, purchase, and refinance transactions, ensuring timely loan closings and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan approvals to determine necessary documents for closing
• Communicate with internal customers within a 2-hour response time
• Manage an individual pipeline of 30-50 loans while meeting monthly funding goals

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 years of recent mortgage experience
• Minimum 3 years of basic computer experience (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be in good standing under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (Safe Act) and registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
• Strong knowledge of federal/state regulatory policies and procedures (TRID experience required)
