Job Summary

Supporting loan applicants and officers, the full-time California Licensed Mortgage Processor will ensure timely and compliant processing of mortgage loans, handling a variety of loan types and communicating effectively with all stakeholders, with fully remote options available.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance for underwriting decisions
• Master the processing of various loan types and property types, including conventional and FHA loans
• Communicate loan application status and issues to applicants, loan officers, and underwriters

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of direct mortgage processing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Graduation from a 4-year college or university in a related discipline preferred
• Ability to accurately calculate income and satisfy DU requirements
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
