Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter (DE/LAPP/SAR) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle FHA, VA, Conforming, USDA, and Bond/Grant programs
• Act as a subject matter expert for loan officers and processors on complex files
• Ensure minimal turn times while maintaining "zero-defect" quality standards

Required Qualifications

• FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) with an active CHUMS ID
• VA Supervised Automatic Review (SAR) with an active VA SAR ID
• 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience
• Expertise in AUS systems (DU/LPA) and proficiency in Byte (or similar LOS)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while being a collaborative team player
