Job Summary

Seeking a skilled California Licensed Mortgage Underwriter, the full-time position will underwrite Hard Money/Private Money loans, review borrower documentation, and analyze property details while ensuring adherence to internal guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite Hard Money/Private Money loans and review loan files and borrower documentation
• Analyze property details, exit strategies, and overall risk, while calculating and validating LTV, ARV, and rehab budgets
• Issue approvals and conditions, ensuring efficient communication with Loan Officers and Processors

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of underwriting experience in Hard Money/Private Lending
• Strong understanding of Fix & Flip and Bridge loan underwriting
• Ability to evaluate ARV-based deals and rehab scopes
• Knowledge of appraisals, title reports, and entity structures
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
