California Licensed Multi-Line Adjuster

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time California Licensed Multi-Line Adjuster will investigate and manage multi-line claims remotely, negotiating settlements and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate coverage, liability, and damages by interviewing claimants and witnesses, and interpreting official reports
• Negotiate and settle claims, manage litigation, and prepare reports summarizing investigation findings
• Maintain expected case loads across multiple lines of business while upholding service delivery standards

Required qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of insurance adjusting experience in at least two lines of business (casualty, property, or marine)
• In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage and practices, along with strong negotiating skills
• Licensing as required by state and local jurisdictions
• Additional continuing education as mandated by Crawford Educational Services
