California Licensed Network Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and implementing network infrastructure, the full-time California Licensed Network Engineer will manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet devices while collaborating with internal teams to ensure secure and high-performing network solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization
• Resolve complex network incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner

Required qualifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience
• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Level 4 or higher preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, preferably in a managed services or service provider environment
• Strong understanding of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and FortiOS
