Job Summary

California Licensed Non-QM Underwriter, this full-time remote position supports the Non-QM Underwriting team by providing expert guidance on loan scenarios, conducting complex income analysis, and assisting with credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for scenario inquiries and underwriting guidance related to Non-QM loan products
• Perform pre-submission income calculations for complex income types
• Collaborate with investors to submit and track exception requests

Required Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Non-QM income documentation and underwriting guidelines
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mortgage underwriting or a related credit role
• Minimum 2 years specific to Non-QM loan products
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Recent experience in manual underwriting and credit review
