California Licensed Nurse Auditor

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and motivated, the full-time remote California Licensed Nurse Auditor will evaluate clinical information from hospital records, ensuring compliance with client agreements and regulatory standards while providing support to the Quality Assurance Department.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluates clinical information and writes/reviews various reports including Medical Record Reviews and Coding Reviews
• Performs quality assurance reviews of peer review reports and ensures compliance with client specifications
• Identifies inconsistencies in reports and collaborates with Peer Reviewers to obtain necessary clarifications or corrections

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, or a minimum of five years of related experience
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nursing license
• Experience in Emergency Room and Critical Care settings
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and treatment protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and general computer operations
