Job Summary
To ensure maximum medical and disability improvement through proactive intervention, the fully remote California Licensed Nurse Case Manager will manage client care by coordinating treatment plans, communicating with stakeholders, and conducting utilization reviews.
Key responsibilities
- Triaging all assigned claims within 24 hours and completing initial contacts and documentation within 72 hours
- Coordinating medical care and disability management to facilitate optimal outcomes for injured workers
- Conducting utilization reviews and ensuring compliance with state regulations while communicating determinations to relevant parties
Required qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Familiarity with California Workers' Compensation and Managed Care, with Utilization Review experience recommended
- Completion of IEA CA 10 class within 1 year of employment if no prior workers' compensation experience
