Job Summary
Seeking a part-time California Licensed Nurse Practitioner, the role will provide medication abortion care and reproductive healthcare services via telemedicine, working remotely on Thursdays and Saturdays with an additional on-call shift, focusing on patient communication and treatment planning.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient visits via video, phone, or asynchronously while reviewing medical intake responses
- Determine appropriate treatment plans and provide follow-up care, including prescribing medications to pharmacies
- Respond to patient inquiries requiring further medical evaluation and direct nursing staff regarding referrals and prescriptions
Required qualifications
- Active Board Certification in good standing to practice medicine
- Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with willingness to apply for additional licenses
- Minimum of 1 year experience in providing abortion and reproductive healthcare
