California Licensed Nutrition Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time Nutrition Instructor to teach online courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach related asynchronous courses
• Maintain accurate attendance and grades for all students
• Identify and refer at-risk students to academic support services

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in the field, or a graduate degree plus 18 semester credits in the subject area
• Two years or more of experience in the subject area
• At least one year of experience in online education
• Comfort with online learning management systems, ideally Moodle
• Strong desire to see students succeed and experience in supporting struggling students
