Job Summary
A company is looking for a Board Certified OB/GYN-Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Advisor for Disability reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records and address client-specific questions using established criteria
- Ensure clear and concise rationale for determinations with adequate supporting documentation
- Maintain proper credentialing and state licenses while attending required orientation and training
Required Qualifications and Education
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active California State Medical license
- Experience in medical necessity and utilization review/management
- Independent contractor status (1099) required
- Ability to return cases by the due date and time
