Job Summary
To support a growing teletherapy practice, the part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide remote occupational therapy services, collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists, and assist clients in achieving their therapy goals through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Provide remote occupational therapy interventions to enhance clients' functional abilities
- Educate clients and caregivers on techniques to improve independence and well-being
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to ethical and legal standards
Required qualifications
- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active California State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License or ability to apply
- Experience in clinic, private practice, hospital, or home health settings
- Technical proficiency in conducting teletherapy
- Comfortable working with pediatric clients (18 months+)
